Hydrophobic Textile Coating
ENY-Mobility technologies provide C8-level water and acid resistant protection for textiles. Scientists in the textile industry have been looking for suitable replacement solutions for C8 for a long time. PFOA or Perfluoroctanacide (C8) has long been the only way to provide reliable water and acid resistant protection. C4 and C6, which today are being tried to replace C8, do not meet the regulatory requirements for water and acid resistance.
Using nanomaterials, ENY-Mobility GmbH has managed to achieve the highest protection rates for textile materials. The addition of CENY-T-Hydrophobic as impregnation for textiles can double the water resistance, oil repellency and acid resistance of current textile coatings.
